10.14.2014 Level Five


Half of this movie – the more traditional Marker essay film about Okinawa, was pretty great. The other half – the long uninterrupted shots of the woman starting into camera as she rambles in the kind of philosophical diarrhea you will only find in a french film, not so much. I could not even rectify the two parts, perhaps I wasn’t paying close enough attention to her drone. I’m not sure.
