Why does every well received genre film lately seem to be about violence and set in the South? This was ok, but didn’t the emotional moments the way it seemed to think it was. I think it was supposed to be tragic, but the story and characters were a bit too muddled. Also if I have to see one more scene with someone trying to remove ammunition from them I will cry. I get that this is trying to play with that trope, but even that is boring by now. No more.
